Interesting and rare near complete set of the first 2 years from this remarkable magazine. The chromo litho plates were intended as an inspiration for tradesman and builders. And indeed nowadays sometimes you can trace back illustrations and carvings in buildings books etc. back to the plates in this magazine. The portfolio and plates are without any date. But because all later plates are marked with : Decoratie motieven II / IV etc etc. this must be first and second year.
Specifieke beschrijving:
Cover of the portfolio with mounted original title page. Scratched and a bit soiled. Most of the plates are bright and clean. Some with minor traces of use and minor fraying around the edges. Overall in GOD but used condition.
