Beschrijving: This is an original antique lithographed school poster - education card. Aprox. 54 cm x 82.5 cm = 21.26 inches x 32.48 inches Meant for education. This is a very early record. Probably this paper poster still had to be provided with a linen back and sticks. Given the quality of the plate, it probably came straight from the lithography workshop. Lithography - Color lithograph - chromolithograph. School charts have been thrown away in large numbers as the education system changed. The plate is now fantastic for framing and to decorate an office space or meeting room. It is in near mint condition But you can also zoom in very deep to view the details accurately. Shipping from the Netherlands rolled up in proper moisture-resistant packaging
Inhoudelijke beschrijving: The Papuan Year Bird is a species of hornbill found in Wallacea from New Guinea to the Solomon Islands. This bird is 76 to 91 cm long and has a large pale white beak and a white tail. The female is completely black, while the male and immature birds have a white neck, which gradually turns into a honey-colored hue. The Papuan yearbird makes a distinctive hissing sound when flying and enduring sounds that resemble laughter. This bird is found in tropical forest areas and is the only hornbill that occurs east of Wallace's lineage. The population numbers are declining, but it is not an endangered bird species. In densely populated parts of New Guinea, the bird has disappeared due to the hunting of its feathers, which are an important part of traditional party clothing.
